Biography:
I have dedicated almost 15 years to working with family owned business and business families on specialist consultancy, complex legal governance, and succession projects. I have written numerous articles on family business topics, and is a regular speaker at family business conferences.
I regularly lecture on family business, including delivering ICFIB's accreditation programme.
I am keen to share my expertise and experience of working with family owned businesses with those working in family businesses and with other professionals to ensure that family businesses obtain the best support possible.
I am also a corporate lawyer, by background, and head the family business team at Veale Wasbrough Vizards LLP.
I am currently writing a book on family business practice and I am a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Family Business Management

Biography:
I am the founder of the International Centre for Families in Business.
I focus very much on supporting family owned business clients, through consultancy projects, to help them move through transition and change. I work with an array of family owned business clients, from smaller owner managed businesses to international family businesses.
I have held a number of academic posts, including the Grant Thornton Fellow in Family Business at the University of Gloucestershire. I have also developed the UK's first MBA for Family Business and Post-Graduate Certificate in Family Business Advising.
I am now working with OneFarm at MasseyUniversity in New Zealand. This organisation combines the capabilities of leading New Zealand researchers, industry experts and rural professionals in order to provide education, training and professional development. I am currently involved in the delivery of two ground breaking programmes for professional advisors, in Governance and Succession.
